Winter Stream 
The little stream that crosses our property has been frozen beneath the snow and ice for a few weeks.  But, with the sun finally warming the temperatures over the last couple of days, the water has opened up again, and is flowing more freely, gurgling its way down through the woods toward the river.  
I often stop when out walking, to listen to the gentle rhythm of the brook.  To hear the gentle flow once again, fills  me with a feeling of fresh awakening, and an excitement in renewal.  Imagine how good it feels to be inspired by the dawning of a new beginning and a hope of a spring not so far away!
