On a cold and windy weekend, I ventured to paint on the edge of Lake Chocorua.  The historic legend of the place has always captivated my imagination, and drawn me to wonder about the story that took place upon the peak across the water.  Rising above the distant shore stood a mountain where only the brave would venture.
